Ali admits to be a “real estate nerd”, like her mom before her. I don’t know about the nerd part, but she knows her craft, as does her mom, whom I met and loved. Ali was the driving force behind the successful sale of our family house. With Ali’s guidance, we elected to do some improvements (new deck, front stairs and railings, painting inside and out) to present the house in the best way. Ali’s impeccable connections with contractors was invaluable to this effort. This was done in an area where it so difficult to get ANY contractor, let alone the incredibly capable ones we employed. She was also like a “project manager” during this effort, as we had already moved to Washington State, and was only available by phone most of the time during which construction took place. She was key in the final decision making, i.e. pricing to attract the most traffic, as traffic is the key. We priced the house low by many people’s standards, but Ali and her team at Grubb knew what they were talking about. We received seven bona fide offers, all over the Zillow estimate of value. The house sold for 43% above the asking price!!! Couldn’t be happier. Yes, I would recommend Ali to anyone that needed a great real estate agent, whether you’re a buyer or seller, especially in the high end.

Ali Babington was the perfect realtor to sell my house. Ali lives in my neighborhood, has been in the business a number of years and her mother (who is now retired) was a well known & top local realtor. It is in her DNA. Ali helped me so much from the beginning, setting up goals and ultimate best time for me to sell my house. She was encouraging and when she had to be a taskmaster, she did that kindly and with a helping hand. She offered what might be the best choice in a decision, but knew when I really needed to have my way! Our respect for each other grew as our commitment took form. Ali was excellent to work with. She has great experience and understanding of the local market. We appreciated her sense of urgency as well as her professionalism, but she also is just a very friendly and engaging person. She was receptive to feedback and gracefully handled any issues that arose. The selling of a house has a lot of moving parts. This was our first home and selling not only was a new experience for us, but turned out to be somewhat emotional as well. We were glad we had Ali on our side to make it happen!
